The Letchworth Centre
A charity offering dozens of complementary therapies.
The Letchworth Centre operates out of a former cottage hospital in eight acres of grounds. It sees over 1300 people each week for a variety of exercise and bodywork classes. It also offers complementary therapies, particularly around back pain management, anxiety, depression and relationship issues.
It ran an NHS funded migraine clinic for two years, using autogenic training as the primary intervention. For many years it has offered university-accredited training for healthcare professionals. It has also run local programmes for GP trainees, for the Joint commissioning team, for mental health teams, social workers, nurses, midwives and occupational therapists.
